Main Beach and The Spit
Philip Park is a unique Gold Coast park wedding ceremony location. This park location is a quiet green area away from the road, with a beautiful lagoon in the middle. It is adjacent to a stunning beach and has leafy green backgrounds.
Macintosh Park – Surfers Paradise
This is one of the most popular Gold Coast parks for a wedding ceremony. The central location to many of the hotel reception venues makes this a great spot for wedding ceremonies. The beautiful green leafy trees and quaint bridge are a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs.
Harley Park, Labrador
This foreshore park has the added feature of a rotunda, perfect for wedding ceremonies and a great back up in wet weather. Overlooking the Broadwater, this is another beautiful location for your special day with green leafy tree surroundings.
The Parklands is also a popular wedding ceremony venue, with several options including a dedicated rooftop ceremony location providing an amazing backdrop for those special occasions! There is also The pier, Little Lawn, Pandanus Point and Anzac Park.
Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens – Rosser Park
These picturesque Gardens provide the perfect place for a wedding ceremony among the wonders of nature. The central lake and boardwalk along with the beautiful plants and bright flowers create an amazing backdrop.
The Gardens span 31 hectares, providing many amazing options for your outdoor ceremony.
Cascade Gardens, Broadbeach
Cascade Gardens features serene rainforest walks, traces of aboriginal culture and an enclosed sanctuary for water birds. It has a lovely rotunda, and the green leafy surrounds of the Gardens are also the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. With a purpose-built gazebo, this is another one of our most popular parks, and its central location is close to many reception venues. A brand new amenities building is located in the park and there are ample parking opportunities within the park.
SOUTHERN GOLD COAST
This park is located on the Queensland/New South Wales border, high on a peak overlooking the ocean. With amazing views to Surfers Paradise to the north and Byron Bay to the south, this park is a magic location for your wedding ceremony.
Froggy Beach – Coolangatta
This is great little secluded beach protected from southerly winds. It provides an idyllic setting for beach weddings provided that your guests are all able to negotiate the stairs.
Laguna Park – Palm Beach
Laguna Park is also one of our most popular wedding venues. The beautiful wedding rotunda overlooks the lake, making a lovely backdrop for your special occasion. The gazebo area includes bench seats, with seating for approximately 24 people. There is a brand new amenities building in the park, and parking options include the car park, or surrounding streets.
John Laws Park, Burleigh Heads
John Laws Park offers one of the most magical views anywhere in the world! A stunning park right atop Burleigh Headland, there are views all the way to Surfers Paradise. Many a marriage proposal has taken place atop this hill, as well as the park being very popular for wedding ceremonies. John Laws is a popular wedding location overlooking the beautiful Burleigh beach breaks.
Mick Shamburg Park, Burleigh Heads/Miami
Atop of Miami Hill, this is a beautiful wedding setting with views across the ocean towards Surfers Paradise. There are grassed, hilltop or boardwalk areas available for your ceremony. An amenities building is located in the park at the bottom of the hill. Hilltop ceremonies will require a moderate to steep, paved walk by your guests. Please keep this in mind for elderly and disabled.
Len Wort Park , Currumbin
This park creates an intimate area for a ceremony, with ample space on the bank for your guests, overlooking Tugun Beach. The park is close to many reception venues, within walking distance for guests.
Pat Fagan Park, Coolangatta
This beautiful beachside park has views all the way to Surfers Paradise. It features a great drive up car park and walkway for the arriving bride and is also a very popular wedding ceremony location. The beautiful Coolangatta beach is just steps away and it features green leafy tree surrounds.
GOLD COAST HINTERLAND
Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens

Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
The Brisbane City Botanic Gardens is the oldest park in the city, originally planted by convicts in 1825. It is located on Gardens Point in the Brisbane CBD and is bordered by the Brisbane River, Alice Street, George Street, Parliament House and QUT’s Gardens Point campus. There are a number of different areas where you can hold your garden wedding ceremony in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens to cater for various guest numbers.
New Farm Park & Brisbane Powerhouse
New Farm Park is an absolutely gorgeous park for garden wedding ceremonies, especially in spring when the jacaranda trees are flowering. There are several designated areas which can be booked catering for varying numbers of guests.
Kangaroo Point – Captain Burke Park
There are two sites available for weddings in the Captain Burke Park. However, only one of these allows structures to be erected. With the imposing Story Bridge above this is a location that is sure to stand out.
There are two areas within Newstead park where you can book your wedding ceremony. One of these has a rotunda which can be dressed beautifully. However, other structures are not permitted.
